July 25, 2013 by Gary Neal Hansen 2 Comments

[UPDATE: This class is now over, but if you click the button below I’ll send you information when I offer another one.]

I’ll be teaching a five-week online continuing education course I’m calling “Prayer for Pastors” beginning September 16. This is offered through my employer, the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary, in our “Christian Leadership Plus” (aka “CL+”) program.

We will be exploring five of the approaches to prayer from my book Kneeling with Giants: Learning to Pray with History’s Best Teachers (InterVarsity, 2012), aiming to grow in the life of prayer that supports vital ministry and gaining resources to guide others as they grow.

The online registration form is not yet up and running, but here is contact information for Dana Weitz who can help you out if you are interested.

Phone: 563.589.3691
Email: Dweitz@dbq.edu
I’ll post a link to the continuing education website when registration info is up.

I’m using what I learned in that class on a daily basis in my personal prayer life and in my congregations. I’ve started giving them “suggestions” to take home and try.I got so much out of that class. I’m glad I took it.
