My aim is to help readers build a positive working relationship with the Bible — a key element of fluency in basic Christianity. Every Christian needs it for confident and effective discipleship.
1. It assumes zero current Bible knowledge.
2. It aims toward lifelong spiritual engagement (i.e. not just academic study or transfer of “Bible basics” facts.)
2. It will draw on great role-models from the Christian past — because that is what I do.
(If I pick your suggestion you’ll get a free copy, though that is a bit down the line…)
So let me know what YOU would call it. Offer as many ideas as you can think of. Both titles and subtitles are welcome!
The comments are officially open! (You can also email me through the “contact” page here on the blog.)

Discovering the Bible You Never Knew
Thanks Brint!
“The Air that I Breath” A combination of Paul’s words to Timothy “All scripture is God breathed” & the Harry Nilsson song lyrics “All I need is the air that I breath… and to love you.”
Correction: “Air that I Breath” is by The Hollies. I always get that song mixed up with Nilsson’s “Without You”
Hey, thanks Tim. I knew the song you meant — makes sense.
Hi!
Walking Forward – Looking Back
This does not have anything about exploring the Bible – so I will keep thinking about this.
