Thanks for your patience during my absence for most of June. I’m back! I’m happy to see that there have been visitors all along, despite the lack of new posts.
(And if my regular visitor from Germany sees this I’d love to be in touch with you — see the contact page to send an email if you want to.)
Lots of good things to come:
1. I’ll be finishing up the posts on the Heidelberg Catechism’s treatment of the Lord’s Prayer. When I do I’ll pick up another section of the Catechism. If any of you would like to see posts on a particular section please let me know.
2. I’ll soon be moving on from Benedictine Monasticism and posting on some other historical movements whose way of being Christian community blossomed into effective mission.
3. I’ll be guest-posting on a couple other blogs in the coming weeks, and will post links here so you can find them.
4. And I have a couple other fun things to work in along the way.
If you have things you’d like to see posts about, of course I’d welcome your comments and emails.
Who knows? We may pass 4,000 page views on my birthday tomorrow!

I’m still reading Wisdom Distilled From The Daily, and thoroughly enjoying it. An odd thing – I sense my mind settling and a physical sense of peace, just reading about a balanced life! Thanks for the suggestion.
Welcome back, Gary, and happy birthday tomorrow! (Also my brother’s birthday)
