My five-week online continuing education class “Prayer for Pastors” begins on September 16!

I hope you will join me for a practical exploration of classic approaches to prayer that can sustain your spiritual life and help you help others in their lives of prayer.

We’ll learn together through

  • Lectures
  • Practice of “new” ways of praying
  • Readings
  • Online discussion with colleagues near and far

We will be using my books Kneeling with Giants: Learning to Pray with History’s Best Teachers and The Kneeling with Giants Reader: Writings on Prayer by History’s Best Teachers (InterVarsity Press, 2012).  You get both titles with purchase of any e-book edition of Kneeling with Giants.

You can click here for more information,

or contact Dana Weitz at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary to register:

563-589-3691 or dweitz@dbq.edu.

(The official deadline is today, but they are still accepting registrations.)
